Yeah I do stuff and I need to prove it to myself
I have all of this music that I wrote when I was a teenager that I've been revisiting and trying to update. All of these are written just as sheet music and so they just play the MIDIs. I've been experimenting with Logic Pro and this is one of the first that I thought sounded OK enough to put out there.
I named it Saving Swift in high school because I was imagining it as the theme song for a TV show about the last people to live in what is now the Quabbin Reservoir. The story fascinated me with how the government was just allowed to destroy these towns. I'm not sure what Swift was, but this song definitely had to do with imagining your bustling town and life come crashing down.
